In direct support of this business sector, we offer integrated functions that include optimal procurement, integrated port facilities, processing, storage and logistical functions to international standards and local needs.
The success of the vertical integration policy applied to bulk commodity sector naturally led us into the downstream petroleum industry including bitumen, construction chemicals, automotive lubricants, base oils and fuels sector and again with strong emphasis on integrated port terminal facilities, purpose built ocean vessels, storage, full logistical infrastructure and state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Today, with the Group sound infrastructural capability and focus on research and development, we are at the forefront of technological excellence in the bitumen and value-added hydrocarbon systems sector.
This includes latest technological advancements in the polymer modified bitumen binder and performance systems for the road and airport pavement industry which has led us in active participation in a significant number of signature projects in the Gulf and the MENA region. This operation is fully supported by world class processing equipment, full QA/QC laboratories, R&D capabilities and uniquely to the Region, project specific pavement consultancy services.
