Cyrus General Trading has been involved in global trading since 1977, specializing in the physical sourcing and marketing of products for Government Agencies and Cooperatives.
Historically, rice was shipped in packaged form. However later on the company began shipping rice in bulk form and started to package at the point of destination under strict quality supervision in order to reduce vessel loading time and freight costs, whilst providing enhanced market competitiveness, improved client service and product freshness.
The savings from cost reduction was passed on to dealers and end-consumer by providing cooperatives and other incentives for buyers. The above strategy has resulted in transfer of technology, creating local jobs, upgrading the quality, offering packaging in all sizes according to market needs as well as being able to control price fluctuation and stock availability. The same principle of quality also applies to our poultry and meat products.
